A young Ph.D. student Nadia Ashraf of Dr. Panjwani Center For Molecular Medicine and Drug Research at Karachi University has allegedly committed suicide in her home after her thesis had been rejected inexplicably by her supervisor Prof. Iqbal.

The reasons that Nadia Ashraf used to tell her close friends were that:

“Dr. Iqbal Chaudhry will not allow me to have a Ph.D.”. 

“Don’t know what the doctor wants from me.”

These are the words that Nadia Ashraf uttered in her immediate circle before committing suicide.
