PROSPECTS OF T10 LEAGUE IN PAKISTAN

The 4^th Abu Dhabi T10 League began on 28 January 2021 in Abu Dhabi, with eight teams playing 29 games. This competition is played in a round-robin style preceded by semifinals and the final and is based on a 10-over-a-side format lasting 90 minutes. As a brainchild for Nawab Shaji Ul Mulk, a billionaire businessman, the ten-time annual franchise tournament has gained massive public and foreign official patronage since its start in 2017. There is no specific evidence that can tell about the successful future of T10 in Pakistan. However, it was successfully played in UAE last time in 2019 while due to COVID-19, it was not played in the year 2020.

Like last season, the eight teams were split into two classes of four teams. While the Maratha Arabians defending champions are in Group A with the Bangla Lions, Delhi Bulls, and the Northern Fighters, the Deccan Gladiators last year are in Group B with the Qalandars, Abu Dhabi, and Pune Devils. The game's T10 format is solid. The League of Abu Dhabi T10 is three seasons old, and the fourth league season has commenced on 28 January 2021. The league consists of 10 overheads on each side, as the name implies.

The opening ceremonies of the fourth edition of the slam-bang league saw the Maratha Arabians battle the North Warriors, where Abdul Shakoor hogged an instant highlight of 73 of just 28 deliveries with a whirlwind. Though he could not remain till the end to lead his team to a win, based on his blitz of seven 4 and five 6, Maratha Arabs were able to trounce the Warriors on a final finish with 5 wickets.

T10 League in Pakistan

Many prospects can lead to the success of T10 in Pakistan. First of all, our country has become a global attraction due to advancement in CPEC (China Pakistan economic corridor), also known as the Gawadar project. The lush green stadium provides a stunning view of the tops of the mountain from a bright blue sky. Tabraiz Shamsi, a South African left-armed spinner, was left hypocritical of the elegance of the setting around Gwadar stadium. "Can we pass the 3rd T20 here?? Looks amazing! The three most magnificent locations for a cricket stadium will be Newlands, Dharamsala and this spot for me," Shamsi tweeted.

The second factor is the strict security that is given to the international players that are coming to Pakistan. The South African is already here for the T20 league. T10 is also offering opportunities for retired players whether international players or Pakistani. Due to this high-level security, there is a minimum risk of blasts and terrorism now. This is all because of the armed forces that are appointed for the protection of international celebrities.  Shahid Afridi, Chris Gayle, Andre Russell, and Shoaib Malik has been included as a legendary group of high-profile cricketers for the 4th season of the T10 League in the eight stars.

The third factor can be said to be the best fortune for investment. Due to the higher safety measures, and the Gawadar project, other countries are seeking to invest in Pakistan. T10 will be a good sign of positive economic change in Pakistan as it is economical and budget-friendly country. Pakistan is also progressing well so T10 is offering awesome experiences.

Finally, there are many chances of T10 to become a part of the Olympics. The Olympics is remarkable. Athletes from all around the globe compete. Their accomplishments are watched by hundreds of millions of viewers from close and far. The Olympic Flag's five rings reflect the foreign character of the games. Their maximum duration is 90 minutes. Cricket has never been in the Olympics yet but now there are many chances to enter into the Olympics due to T10 because of its short duration of 90 minutes and its 10 overs.

Some factors can be taken into account for the failure of T10. Many people think that T10 will not be as successful as T20 because of COVID-19. T20 has been in practice for seventeen years but T10 was just played once in 2019. And it may be unsuccessful due to its fast speed.

The other factor that is thought by people is that it has no bright future as PSL or T20 has because of not being an original form of cricket as well as it is not balanced. T20 has some duration that can be said to enjoy for a standard time but the T10 ends soon before it starts. People have some negative feedback for its soon ending.

To conclude, the main factor that is seen is that once the tournament T10 will be played in Pakistan, the future will sparkle and shine more. As the main purpose of this game is to take cricket to the Olympics, so the chances of getting successful looks higher than the minor negative prospects.
